Welcome to Harvey Farms John and Laura Harvey have been in the Registered cattle business for 25 years.  He and his family began their journey with Limousin cattle and the cattle took them to the top.  They were known throughout the country for their Limousin cattle.   About ten years ago, they decided to venture into the Registered Angus business.  They completely dispersed from the Limousins and began to purchase their foundation herd of Angus cattle.  The cattle and embryos came from the top Angus producers at that time.  This included Hyline Angus (Manhattan, MT), Gardiner Angus (Ashland, KS), Sitz Angus Ranch (Harrison, MT), Sherrod Farms (Oneonta, AL), and E E Ranches (Winona, MS).   Since the Harvey's began their venture with the Angus, they have been quietly building the herd.  They have built the herd by hand picking proven A. I. sires to complement individual cows and using embryo transfer on some of their very best cattle.  Our goal with increasing the herd has been to produce cattle that are sound, solid, and that will produce quality growthy top performing Angus calves.
